Mat Stockstill

Director of Business Relations

Mathew Stockstill serves as the Director of Business Relations on the For Burkina Team. Currently he is one of three members on the board of directors and is a founding member. Mat brings years of philanthropic experiences as well as invaluable leadership skills to the team. As a recent graduate of the Hammon’s School of Architecture, Mat holds a Master’s in Architecture degree. While attending Drury University he was heavily involved in Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity where he served as intramurals coordinator and Vice President. While serving as Vice President of Lambda Chi, Mat raised over 100,000 pounds of food for the Ozarks food harvest. He successfully coordinated events such as Watermelon Fest, Quiz Bowl, and a Softball tournament. During his 5th year of architecture school he became a project manager for the Solar Decathlon team. He still actively involved as a Project Manager for the team as he prepares the team for the competition during the summer of 2015.

Mat joined the group because of his earnest desire to aid in diminishing global poverty through education. Having grown up on a farm in Smithton, Missouri, he knows the value and importance of hard work. Mat does a great job of keeping the group upbeat with his humor and telling of random stories. With the childhood dream of becoming a Yankee, the For Burkina team is thrilled to say his range as a shortstop is less than desirable at this point. We need him and can’t think of a better person to have on our team and in the Director of Business Relations position than Mat.
